Christian Audigier (pictured above-right with actor Don Cheadle) is a French fashion designer that has designed for brands such as Von Dutch and Affliction. After leaving his position as Head Designer for Von Dutch Originals, Christian started the Ed Hardy brand based on the art and designs of Don Ed Hardy. (Von Dutch marketed the imagery of Kenny Howard.)
In 2002, Don Ed Hardy was approached by Ku USA, Inc. to produce a line of clothing based on his designs. Within two years, the collection caught the attention of reputable retailers such as Saks. Hardy and Ku USA formed Hardy Life LLC, which holds the trademark ownership and the copyrights to all of Hardy's images.
Christian Audigier licensed the rights to produce the high-end Ed Hardy clothing line in 2004. In 2008, Christian announced his newest venture, "When I Move You Move", the Trade Show, exclusively showcasing the entire family lineup of Audigier brands. There are more than 60 licensees who produce everything from jewelry, skateboards, wine, vodka, swimwear to chocolates.
The Christian Audigier line is Christian's signature brand and offers a Rock and Roll inspired collection of fine sterling silver jewelry. You can learn more about the collection at Christian Audigier Jewelry; the collection is now available at select retailers worldwide. Christian Audigier stores can be found in Los Angeles; San Francisco; Beverly Hills; Paramus; New York; Shanghai; Hong Kong; and Croatia.
